Active Membership
Membership in this Association is open to professional individuals who have served as Chief Officers in regular organized Fire Departments, Salvage Corps, Fire Prevention and Protection Associations, and State Fire Marshall, including Assistants or Deputies, the State Fire Academy Director and Instructors, City Wardens and Fire Marshals, Fire Commissioners, Rating Bureau personnel, Public Safety Directors, County Fire Coordinators, and retired members.
Lifetime Membership
Life membership is awarded to Fire Service members who excel in Association affairs. The originating department can recommend life membership, which is subject to approval or disapproval by the Executive Committee.
Associate Membership
We recognize and value the importance of partnering with experienced and knowledgeable professionals in the industry. Therefore, we welcome equipment salespersons, factory representatives, and fire equipment manufacturers, who bring with them years of valuable insights and specialized knowledge.
Honorary Membership
Applicants must meet the State's citizenship and moral character qualifications, while also demonstrating a strong commitment to the Fire Service.
